ARTESIA – 25-year- old Christopher Jordan Gomez of Artesia has been charged with aggravated battery against a house hold member after he allegedly attacked his ex-girlfriend with a knife on Monday.
According to Artesia Police, Gomez allegedly broke into the home of a woman picked up a knife and attacked her. The woman was in a closet hiding with two small children.
Police reports indicate that Gomez had been under a restraining order to keep away from the woman who he had a two-year-relationship with.
No word on whether the woman or the children were injured.
