The San Juan County Commission, Mescalero Apache Tribe and Zia Park Casino Hotel Racetrack, in Hobbs are challenging a February 10th decision by the New Mexico Racing Commission to transfer the racing and casino license to a proposed facility in Clovis; Students at Dexter High School are celebrating big wins at the SkillsUSA New Mexico Conference in Albuquerque, where they earned multiple gold medals — and secured spots at the national competition this summer.
