New Mexico State Police are actively searching for a man and woman who shot at an NMSP officer, and have identified Makaela Johnson as a suspect, she has the word, “Loyalty” tattooed above her right eye; The New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services will brief attendees on an $8 million federal grant opportunity in Carlsbad Wednesday – email dvs.pio@dvs.nm.gov; On Saturday, the City of Hobbs is asking residents to come out and help clean up along the Lovington Trail.
