Early voting across the state for the June 2 primary election began Tuesday; Fifth-grade students from Yucca Elementary School in Artesia stepped outside the classroom Monday morning to help paint a second mural near Eagle Draw; For the second straight week, Texas led major producing states in adding active oil and gas drilling rigs.
