MTD Radio Weekend Edition – New Mexico and West Texas
Representatives from Film New Mexico and Film Lea County along with New Mexico-based film makers told listeners about where the film industry is in New Mexcio, where it is headed and the benefits and drawbacks of what a burgeoning film industry means to a large rural state like New Mexico. They discussed the economic impact, not only for local governments but also for local businesses and residents as film production happens in local areas. They also discussed film projects, such as teh Inspirado Film, “Love On Tap” that are being released on a limited engagement across the state, giving New Mexico-made films an impact in the state as well as being released in LA, New York, Chicago and Houston.
